Who is Dr John Demartini?

Dr John Demartini has gained a great amount of exposure in recent years due to his appearance in the hit movie ‘The Secret’. As you know, ‘The Secret’ was a massive success and not just in the self development world, it also received huge mainstream recognition. Because of this, Dr Demartini has become internationally known and very much in demand. Considering his popularity, I was very pleased to be able to hear him speak for approximately 2 hours at a cost of only $30. At the age of 17, John Demartini, a high school drop-out, met an old man who was able to catalyze a profound transformation in him that inspired him to develop a vision as a philosopher and teacher. Dr John Demartini now travels over 360 days a year, to over 56 countries sharing his 36 years of research of over 260 different disciplines. These disciplines include psychology, cosmology, economics, sociology, biology and theology. He has written over forty books, produced over 50 CDs and DVDs, and created over 70 different courses.

What does Dr Demartini teach at this seminar and in his other resources? 

Much of what Dr Demartini teaches relates to our values and how they determine what we do in all areas of our lives. For example, if money is not high on your list of deep rooted values you are unlikely to act in a way that attracts it. He also spent time at the seminar discussing the billionaire potential within us all. He gave a good example of someone he met who had interviewed many famous people for his radio show, however, the man had one big problem, he was flat broke. Dr Demartini helped him to recognize the value held within the back catalogue of interviews he had archived. Dr Demartini helped the man realise that either he or someone else could help him to package them up in a way that would not only bring him great wealth, but would also give other people the gift of the wisdom within the interviews.

Dr Demartini taught us to look inwards to discover our greatest assets. He suggested that if we found this difficult then we should study the personalities of influential and extraordinary people, this would help us recognise similar traits in ourselves. Dr Demartini spent some time discussing over 800 people he had met that he really admired including: Arnold Swarchenegger, Claudia Schiffer and Sylvester Stallone amongst others; the decision to meet them was made long before he actually did, it was cultivating their traits within himself that attracted them into his life.

My experience at the Dr Demartini seminar 

The seminar was held in a very nice hotel, several hundred people attended, all seats were filled and I got the feeling he would have attracted many more had the seminar room been able to fit in a greater number of people.  

The seminar didn’t include the usual preamble that many others I’ve been to have, he just gets down to it, though for the first ten minutes or so I felt he was either slightly distracted, or suffering from a cold. This was only temporary though and as he continued his passion shone throughout the remainder of the seminar. Dr Demartini is a fantastic speaker and communicator in general. He has an immense amount of energy, he is charming, charismatic and humorous at the same time. The experience he has gained throughout the years is phenomenal, and the way he breaks things down makes it very easy to understand and apply. 

He closed the seminar by suggesting that everybody should spend a few minutes before going to bed thinking about something that had happened during the day that we were grateful for.

Should you see Dr Demartini at a live seminar? 

I was impressed with Dr Demartini in ‘The Secret’ and his latest appearance in  the ‘The Compass’ DVD. I am pleased to say he was even better live. So the answer is yes! His smaller seminars are excellent value and I am thinking about attending one of his more expensive ones such as ‘The Breakthrough Experience’. ‘The Breakthrough Experience’ is a two-day program by Demartini which uses his ‘Demartini Method TM ’ to get to the heart of your true being, uncover what your highest values are, examine your false personalities and deepen your understanding of fundamental universal laws. Summary

To see an internationally renowned expert on human potential for a low cost, I cannot recommend Dr Demartini highly enough, You will come out of the seminar on a complete high and will be eager to learn more, I am sure of it.
